david lachapelle is awful. is to photography and music videos what paris hilton is to life--a symbol of america's shameless, pathetic decadence.

god. could amy winehouse have less personality? i mean, she's got hair and eyeliner and everything, but... man.

whenever i hear this song, i see women dancing in their kitchen, doing the hustle, alongside their daughters, mothers, grandmothers. seeing amy and others, walking through the world, bumping into other women who are also just trying to get through their day, while rockin their fine selves, looking good on the street does make sense to me, too. sure. but, i've been teaching my 3 year year old daughter how to sing and dance to this song, as we get through my separation from her father... and this video didn't inspire me to even think of showing it to her.

She could have a nice voice for some northern soul singing instead she has a totally transparent and affected fake accent and posture to go along with it.

music videos should get better not more boring. I do love lachapelle's photo work, but his vids are not as exceptional.
