Elvis Perkins in Dearland make their network television debut on the June 13, 2007 Late Show with David Letterman. The band, which also features Brigham Brough, Nick Kinsey, Wyndham Garnett and Noah Meites played "While You Were Sleeping" off their debut record "Ash Wednesday".Thx Max.
Elvis Perkins is playing Bonnaroo this weekend, and the Village Voice Siren Festival in Coney Island on July 21st. All tour dates....

It was a joke on the fact that he chose to make his debut on the letterman show and was still there....

I never heard Elvis Perkins last night, but hot damn, that was a good performance. Don't quite see how it would translate well under a big outdoor stage at Siren.

definitely not a Siren band. He was good at Luna lounge but the sound was shit , his voice was all garbled/

Yeah that Luna Lounge show was amazing. Wish he'd play somewhere like that again soon.

I was at the show. Dave was "surprised" the boys were still there because the taping was riddled with technical difficulties. Regardless, they were awesome.
