The video is sort of interesting in that it's shot entirely with one frame, but the ending is very cliche. It'll do, I guess. And before everyone starts harping on their new material sucking, this is easily the worst song on the album, so don't fret too much.

No way. Its about the only up-tempo song on the album. Yes, I'm sure after today everyone who wanted got a copy.

The video is only available to US residents.

I guess I'll have to wait until this leaks onto YouTube.

the album is pretty lame, a lot of the songs sound identical to songs off antics. The last track on the album is kind of cool, it all around a boring album. Unlike the new Liars which slays.

I think it's pretty poor too, a lot of it sounds like routine reworkings of stuff off Antics with worse melodies and lyrics.. Pioneer, Mammoth and the last 2 songs are quite good though.

Agree with mostly everyone. Album is rather unexciting. Too bad. Good band. They all can't be winners. Hope this isn't going to be the norm after signing with major label.

The video's cast makes sense, since the song is condemning L.A. living, and like "Evil," the editing works against the traditional music video "cut at the beat," but the car accident is cliche. Maybe the boys just pulled a move like the Strokes often do and said, "Just make the video, we don't care as long as we're not in it."

Maybe the self-righteous tone-deaf assholes who seem to believe they have good taste will reconsider how great Antics was now that the third LP is unimpressive? Sure, there were moments in the last 3 minutes that edged Cruise music, but it was a very good album, just neutered of any rock edge and sexiness from the first LP.

Did anyone else get a creepy David Lynch vibe? No? Just me?

i've been listening to the 3rd album and at first it was "more of the same" but they're growing on me now. i guess that kinda says something in itself, that the album had to grow on me. i like it, but nothing spectacular.

but who am i kidding. i'm still trekking down to baltimore to catch them at virgin fest.

How are you guys listening to the album?

My first thought about the album was that it was a complete bore but after a few hours on a loop, I must say I really love it.
