How many pictures does it take to make a video....

The Polyphonic Spree are a 23-member band from Dallas, TX. The video for "Running Away" is directed by Hal Samples and Julie Doyle. The video consists of over 70,000 individual pictures taken over a ten day period of the band on the road.

Their new release is called The Fragile Army, in stores on June 19, 2007 on TVT Records/

wow it takes a lot of pictures to make a rather boring run of the mill "indie" video

Could they rip off the melody to Blondie's "Dreaming" anymore?
...Such a worthless band...keep "Running Away"

Best damn video ever! It takes ALOT of time and effort to make 70,000 pictures into one video. I bow down to these minds of great intelligence, Hal/ Jeremy/Brandon/and everyone.

Can't you just make a video and remove a few frames to achieve the same effect?
