waiting for Paul (McCartney outside Amoeba)
DOWNLOAD: The Swayback - I'm Waiting for the Man (VU cover) (MP3)

According to the first two people in line, this is the second wave of fans looking to score a wristband to get into the Paul McCartney in-store. Amoeba staff already sent a group away after giving out the allotted number of wristbands. This photo was taken around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Wristbands for the in-store, which is set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, were supposed to be handed out starting at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. The people here are either waiting for another batch of wristbands or plan to sleep on the ground just in case Amoeba decides to let more people inside for the performance. Paul McCartney is such a joke, I can't believe these people would wait around like that. They must really like seeing the old man in his converse shoes and suit playing music with such bad lyrics. Everybody's gonna dance tonight? Wow ... that is really inventive. Selling out to Apple? That is even more inventive. All the vegans who own Apple computers and run its software, which is based on codecs it won't release, are hypocrites and jokes. If you don't know what the option is besides windows and crapple, get a clue.

Hey Converse Shoes, complain much?

lol, he managed to criticize McCartney, McCartney fans, old people, Converse shoes, vegans, Apple, Microsoft and Snapple all in one comment.
definitely wins biggest whiner award...

Selling out to Apple? That's a ridiculous comment. Yeah, Paul really needed to sell out. Are you kidding me? Paul McCartney is one of the richest people in the world. Why would he need to sell out to anyone? Selling out is not a term that even applies here. He's got so much money and so many resources that he just makes whatever business decisions he wants based on his own interests and or concerns. He doesn't need Apple to make himself rich. He doesn't need anyone. He's a freaking BILLIONAIIRE! Billionaires don't sell out they just sell. Which apparently he is as his album is doing really well.

McCartney is a joke? He's a 65 year old who has a critically acclaimed number three album on the charts and is creating chaos at surprise shows in small clubs where he is belting out 90 minutes of some of the best songs ever written for free.
Name one other person of ANY age who is doing anything even comparable.

A joke? Former member of the Beatles. Former member of Wings. Massive solo output. A Billionaire. One half of the greatest songwriting partnership of the 20th Century. Consistantly huge concert draw. Top three album on the charts at sixty five years old.
You could only wish that when you are retirement age your life is this much of a joke.

I love Apple. What's wrong with Apple. And converse rules! Paul's cool too.

funny, the hipster that probably wrote that joke comment was probably wearing converse and typing on a Mac.
