YACHT playing McCarren, but not w/ THE BLOW

I don't understand how anyone can like YACHT. I was at that show at Hiro where he stopped in the middle of his set to have a Q&A. What sort of overinflated sense of self-importance do you have to have to think a room full of people who mostly have never heard of you are interested enough? Just do your sucky act quickly and get off the stage. Or better yet, just stay in Portland.

I'm glad too. I loved the (B)low-fi Concussive Caress but found the increasingly busy electro stuff less and less enjoyable.

He was adorbs at SXSW but yeah, that was in the backyard of a tiny bar. He might rock McCarren if he has dancers or something. Or if they get rid of that ridiculously ugly stage.

ok, i have to weigh in here. not only do i think yacht is poor, but i think blow is even worse.

why are either of these acts popular? the music is so boring and the performances are frigging awful.
