Shortlisted albums

Amy Winehouse, Arctic Monkeys, Jamie T, Bat for Lashes, and Maps were among those nominated for this year's UK Mercury Prize. Amy Winehouse is playing Summerstage and touring. Arctic Monkeys are playing Summerstage and touring. Thanks for the info..Just got my ticket for Maps at Luna Lounge..A $4.50 service fee for a $10.00 ticket through Ticketweb..ouch!

maps is not worth seeing live. Saw them open for blonde redhead twice (Glasgow and London) a month and a half ago. Their album is better than their live show.

Pretty sad bunch for the most part. The View and Jamie T are really among the best the UK has to offer? The Brits ain't got nothin' on the Swedes these days.

Utter rubbish about Maps not being worth seeing live. Seen them lots over the summer and thought they were incredible every time.

maps put on a great live show. he was super cute and super appreciative and grateful to be playing new york for the first time. the show went off relatively without a hitch until the one of the keyboards died two songs away from the final song. the band harmonized beautifully together.
