Grizzly Bear & Feist - 2007 Tour Dates (McCarren, Beacon)
Grizzly Bear @ Summerstage, NYC - July 16, 2007 (more & more)
As previously reported, Jeff Tweedy-favorite Grizzly Bear and Brian Williams-favorite Feist are among those playing an 826NYC benefit at Beacon Theatre in NYC on August 26th. You also know that Grizzly Bear just got done touring with Feist - they even played two shows together at NYC's Town Hall. Well, now they'll be playing together again at McCarren Pool too. Note:
We are excited to announce that Feist will welcome Grizzly Bear, who has just been added to the bill at McCarren Pool on August 29th. Please note that doors will now open at 5PM one hour earlier than originally announced to allow for Grizzly Bear’s performance which will begin at 6:15. Also appearing with Feist is Broken Social Scene (performing Kevin Drew's "Spirit If...").Tickets are still on sale. Grizzly Bear & Feist also both just announced a bunch of not-together tour dates elsewhere. All of those are listed below....

i'm a bit confused with the set up. so is feist performing with some bss members to perform songs off of kevin drew's solo project as a second opener and then doing her own set? as much as i love bss, i want to see feist play her solo stuff!

Chances are good that Feist will play at least 1 tune with Grizzly Bear @ the 826NYC Beacon show, like last year's Byrne-Sufjan song, right?? I'm about to buy tickets anyway.

you can get tickets for McCarren at Ear Wax for no fee or at Irving Plaza for no fee.

Does anyone know what the timing for show at McCarren will be on Wednesday (8/29). Looks like doors are at 6...Grizzly Bear up first or Kevin Drew?
