Thanks for using my picture of Lizzy of Gang Gang Dance. She's the best!
Could you please credit me? My Flickr name is "acedout".

Does anyone have pics from the Octopus Project show at McCarren Park Pool yesterday. Post 'em up BV, I am sure they are pretty cool looking

"Lizzie from GGD is my LIFE IDOL"
"She's the best!"
Are you two serious? Have you ever seen her perform with I.U.D.? It's the most inept bullshit I've ever seen in my life. She belongs nowhere near a drum kit (nor a delay pedal for that matter) and Gang Gang Dance would be gold without her.

i was prepping to take pictures of the balloon release and of course my memory card was full so i missed out on the good flicks

brian chippendale..he was on fire...he's so good...had a whole bunch of "die-hard" lightning bolt fanatics around him though as soon as i got in i noticed like 20 people sitting right by his drumset.

Without Meg White, this event had no credibility whatsoever.

Wack they didn't let you in. There was PLENTY of room... not crowded at all toward the back.
My review and much-lamer-than-these pics:

I preface this as saying I am a big fan of GGD. I sat right behind Lizzy and she kept messing up, there I said it.
Although I'm sure a lot of other drummers made mistakes as well, except Chippendale of course.

i saw at least 2 sticks go flying, and one cymbal fall off, i mean, that added to the excitement! it was an army of drummers, after all, these things happen in the heat of battle

chippendale was having the time of his life. it was hard not to become a fanboy/girl after watching him.
and that girl in the brown dress w/the flowing hair - super hot.

Gorbert - GGD are solid gold WITH Lizzie, she's turned into a great frontwoman over the past few years. I.U.D. are good. That is all.

hahahahaha

i would say a lot of the drummers were weak. whenever people would start dogging it, they'd look over and see brian chippendale still playing significantly harder than they were to begin with and pick up the pace.
