It was an average show outside of Les SAvy Fav's amazing performance. I saw O'Death, Besnard Lakes and Land of Talk and Besnard Lakes were porbably the best.

Thanks for putting on the show. It was much appreciated. It was amazing to see Les Savy Fav again in a ideal outdoor venue.

I uploaded some average quality videos yesterday including "Who Rocks the Party?" and the closing song.

"why don't we just make lightbulbs that emit solar energy?"

my favorite line was the one about his wish for "solar powered rent"

i hope someone compiled all the banter from Tim, every line was gold.

"not getting to see les savy fav play regularly is what i miss most about not living in new york."

In the past 12 months alone, I have seen LSF perform 4 times in NYC. We are lucky! Never get tired of seeing them, but they need to play more "alternative" venues more often. The MoMA show rocked!

Tim really did have some great banter all night, he loved tying in the whole solar energy thing and kept talking about how we're gonna use the sun's solar energy, and when that's gone we're gonna use the moon's energy, and then "We're goin' to Mars baby!" There was even a chorus put into a song about "We're gonna eat the sun! We're gonna chop the moon!"

Besnard Lakes were the best.

"LSF closed with Precision Auto by Superchunk and Wrong by Archers of Loaf"

now you're just rubbing it in. i think i've only see them do one cover before ("fortunate son"). both of those would fit tim's voice perfectly.

Syd, iy was nice meeting you and Amy and of course Lyla Forest, in Red Oak, Ia. this weekend. It was nice to have someone there that shared Jake and my musical tastes. I hope to catch your band in Omaha or Minneapolis. Also, I dig the pictures of you and Lyla at the show.
