i've never heard this band, so they might be undiscovered incredible, but if you put out 10 albums and are playing the mercury lounge, seriously, maybe it's time to focus on your other career

New Model Army have been around for at least 20 years, but never really built up a big US audience. So think of this Merc Lounge show as one for the diehards. I have The Ghost of Cain LP - it roars. History here:

New Model Army's music hasn't varied much since 1989, but their lyrics are extremely intelligent, and they put on a more exhilarating live show than most bands half their age.

in the People's Republic of North America, the anonymous poster of the sarcastic remark regarding New Model Army playing the Mercury Lounge, would be shot for crimes against the people's sensibilities.

and he/she'd have their ipod/iphone anally inserted by the culture police.

get some knowledge and get a life hipster poser. at least NMA are still making relevant music. half of today's hip bands will be working at the apple store in 10 years.

perhaps this anonymous poster with the cheap shot about the mercury lounge should check out the ONLY band that matters before taking the piss -
WANKER!
