Patrick Krief is in the Dears, and has an awesome song where he sings with Land of Talk's Elizabeth Powell streaming on his MySpace, and this very week he's in NYC doing his solo thing along with fellow Canadians Uncut (as seen on Pitchfork). Last night they played Mercury Lounge, and next:

how was the Mercury Lounge show?

Unfortunately, I was 1 of only 3 or 4 people at last night's Maxwell's show (depending on which band played). Scissors for Lefty had about 10 people watching (including members of New London Fire and perhaps Uncut). Patrick Krief played for my wife, myself and the guys from Uncut. Uncut played for another paying patron guy, two girls, Patrick Krief's crew, and us.

I was at the show at maxwell's last night too!
it was really weird that no one else was there. it made me sad.
and sorry i only stayed halfway through the Patrick Krief set.
