regine needs to FUCKING HUSTLE. bet you zach condon could get to the ball faster than her. also, this indie-zone-d bullshit ain't gonna cut it. richard reed perry needs to stop cherry picking.

speaking of sports, how lame is that dodge ball thing at mccarren pool?

This totally reminds me of a high-fiving white guys moment.

Holy shit, Win Butler threw it down! WITH AUTHORITY!

Posted by Joey | July 23, 2007 12:05 PM

There is no doubt in my mind that Win stole the rock

Win is gigantic. I felt like Mr. pingping the one time I stood next to him.

Damn, that's a low hoop. Must be Canadian.

Posted by icanspill | July 23, 2007 12:53 PM

Who cares?

Retarded!

Posted by Anonymous | July 23, 2007 12:56 PM

is win sponsored by nike? he's totally geared.

Posted by Anonymous | July 23, 2007 1:08 PM

Yeah, he only plays Nike guitars.

Berkeley is a pinko-commie town. They probably do buy Canadian stuff instead of American products. I wouldn't be surprised if their speed limit signs are in km per hour.

WATCH THE VIDEO OF BUTLER TALKING ABOUT THIS BASKETBALL GAME (INCLUDING AN ALTERCATION THAT LED TO POLICE INVOLVEMENT) AT THE SHOW THAT EVENING AT THE GREEK THEATER IN BERKELEY.

Apparently, the Arcade Fire is all about basketball. I interviewed Tad from the Hold Steady in May and he was in the middle of a game that pitted the Arcade Fire against a line-up of Frenchkiss Records all-stars.

Hold Steady won two of the three games.

omg indie rock isn't just about skinny jeans and absurdly ironic (sun)glasses. They play and enjoy sports too!!!

The dodgeball thing at McCarren Pool is pretty neat. I wish they had a Bball court too.

Indie Rockers, They're Just Like Us!

Cut the shit, BV.

I would love to see Ivan Rosebud poster Win's pathetic ass

Arcade Fire did not steal a basketball, but BrooklynVegan stole my pictures.

maybe win should have spent his time writing some songs that didnt sound the same rather than acting like a jerk off. As he did on his entire UK tour.and europe-.

most dissapointing live shows of the year....exciting start- then win winging about the sound, and all the songs blending into one.

According to an interview of St. Vincent in The Onion, Arcade Fire is also into total Whirlyball domination. Can you imagine the experience of being hit by Win Butler at full throttle? Ouch!

Posted by Hawkmoon947 | July 24, 2007 4:40 PM

Beethoven could easily dunk on these guys...
