WHY IS DOOM ON THE SAME TIME AS WU TANG?

Posted by Anonymous | July 27, 2007 2:10 PM

Saturday's show is back on sale at Ticketmaster.

Posted by ondal | July 27, 2007 2:17 PM

if i had known mos def and talib kweli were going to be performing together i would have thought more about going.

Posted by Anonymous | July 27, 2007 2:19 PM

there are some pissed-off hippies out there over the vegoose lineup

Posted by Anonymous | July 27, 2007 2:30 PM

any time mos and kweli are on the same lineup together they perform together. few solo songs, few more black star. should have been assumed that they would perform together, no?

and the doom/wu tang thing SUCKS. serioulsy dont know what to do. hopefully the notoriously late and unorganized (live) wu will go on late. but then theres the special guest to take into consideration who will probably go on before wu.. and im hearing a tribe called quest. trouble.

"any time mos and kweli are on the same lineup together they perform together. few solo songs, few more black star. should have been assumed that they would perform together, no?"

i've seen them twice on the same lineup and they did only one song together.

and the doom/wu-tang thing should not be a question. go see wu-tang. doom will leave you unfulfilled wishing you went to see wu-tang.

Hey dildo, ever heard of craigslist?

Where do you guys see a slot for a "special guest" before Wu? Not that I'm opposed to seeing Tribe, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Posted by jamie | July 27, 2007 3:18 PM

morello is a pimp.

i thought about flying to vegas for 'goose...for Rage and Muse at least buuut that special guest has to be kind of really special for me to do that, i think.

Posted by pm | July 27, 2007 3:24 PM

wu-tang will definitely be better. doom is the most boring and uncharismatic performer in underground hip-hop. i saw him at nokia and summerstage a while ago, and i was completely unfulfilled each time. wu-tang is clearly superior in terms of live performance.

"Hey dildo, ever heard of craigslist?"

yeah, its up there too. Sorry for just trying to get rid of tickets for a show tomorrow so i can get my money back. I had no idea you would be so upset. Please accept my sincere apology.

I'm driving in from Jersey for the show. I don't feel like using public transportation but I've gotten like three emails from Ticketmaster/Guerilla Union saying that they're predicting "massive traffic problems". Anyone think that it's going to be as bad as they're saying it'll be or are they just trying to avoid parking problems a la Coachella/Bonnaroo by sending these emails out?

um hello hottays

I saw Tom Morello play at a coffee shop in Venice CA as the Nightwatchman. It was very inspiring and passionate.

It's a small unassuming place but they have some really great people play there like Morello, St. John and the Revelations, Tom Fruend, and others. It's hit or miss, but when it hits it's really good.

tom's from my hometown libertyville illinois! way to represent!

Posted by Anonymous | July 27, 2007 9:56 PM

where can i find times they play?

Posted by Anonymous | July 28, 2007 10:27 PM

the times for each performer are posted on the event's myspace page. that's where I found it.

show was amazing!

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2007 1:31 PM

they screwed up the vip area, they had no screens on stage so if you are short you are screwed. then since greed overtook them and they had to add another day and try to capitalize to no ones surprise sundays sales where a flop they made the surprise act disappear since they could not afford it.

rage killed though

Posted by Anonymous | July 29, 2007 3:14 PM

i can't believe i forgot about this! :-(
