St. Vincent @ Bowery Ballroom, NY - July 17, 2007 (CRED)
St Vincent @ Bowery Ballroom

St. Vincent (Annie Clark) played her first headlining show at Bowery Ballroom in NYC last night. Last time Annie was here, she played Union Hall and stopped by Atlantic Sound to record a "DUMBO Session". They merged video from both together for the following result...

"Paris is Burning"

"These Days"

the show was incredible, and yes, Sufy was there.

Amazing. Highlights (for me anyway): "Bang Bang", "Paris is Burning"
However, there wasn't a bad note in the whole set.

Why do people always have to name drop on this site? I guess a show is better if more celebs show up. And who the hell is Sufy? Is that short for overrated? Oh yeah, Annie was great last night!

Only an Annie fsn would say things like that.

who isn't an Annie fan? she's got more talent on the end of her little finger than sufjan has in his whole body.

Blogs like Sufy, therefore I must like Sufy. Sufy likes Annie, therefore I must also like Annie.

Uh, Annie was in Sufjan's touring band and opened for him overseas as well.

I went to see Scout Niblett with some curiosity about St. Vincent. Scout was on top of her game, though I wish she had a longer set. Annie seemed amazed and quite grateful that so many people were there for her. Great show start to finish.

"Uh, Annie was in Sufjan's touring band and opened for him overseas as well."

Uh, it appears humor is not one of your strong points.
