Actually, Khaela is the one who writes the songs while Jona just adds the beats and electronic noises. Khaela alone has written, recorded and performed as The Blow for years- Jona is only a recent addition. Note that "Eat Your Heart Up" from Paper Television is actually just a new version of "My Heart" recorded by Khaela circa 2001.

in 2004 i interviewed khaela for my then high school newspaper as i was fascinated by her. she was incredibly sweet, nice, giving and intelligent. calling her a bitch, is just plain old immature.
