Webster Hall? Moving on up. I remember seeing them at a tiny bar that maybe held 75 people. Then at Mercury, then Bowery. Hammerstein next?

Webster is actually a small step back from their show in April, which was at Town Hall. They only filled about 2/3 of the venue (1,500 capacity), so Webster should be about right. I'd prefer Irving, though, despite the Clear Channel-ness of it all.

once was an amazing movie.

I think Webster Hall is a good place for them. Michael Brunnock is a great singer/songwriter and I am glad he is opening the show for the Frames!

That is going to be great week for shows.

9/7 - Damien Rice at Wamu
9/10 - The Frames
9/11 - Tom McRae at the Living Room (first of three Tuesday shows there).

The soundtrack for Once is AMAZING.

Sucker for heartfelt acoustic singers from Ireland...Damien RIce in the same week. Yes.
