Vida. Not boring, not irrelevant to many people. What kind of response are you expecting from your question that you are so compelled to ask? Are you looking for a bunch of people to agree with you? Cause there have been many postings in the past that you can read if that is the case.

It seems Corgan wants to be hailed and embraced as a stadium alt/rock god like it's still 1995.
OK Billy, Zwan didn't work out but don't call this band SP. Start over, play the clubs, work on the new songs...which, by the way, are mediocre at best.

Thanks for posting things on the pumpkins! The pumpkins were always billy and jimmy, as much I respect james, billy wrote and played 95 of everything the pumpkins ever recorded. Obviously Jimmy is the other unique and irreplaceable part of the band. The new album is amazing/melodic/hard rocking and musically extremely impressive. It does focus a bit too much on their hard rocking side, but they obviously wanted it that way. They aren't done, already playing new songs (one video on pitchfork the other day) at their residences in NC and SF.
