Disco/Glam/Indie-House spun by a bunch of hopped-up kids that aren't from Baltimore - BANG BANG AT THE DISCO. EVERY THURSDAY 10PM-4AM @ CLUB MIDWAY. AVENUE B btw. 2nd and 3rd Streets.

Sharon Jones & the DapKings were AMAZING tonight! Turned my blue mood around in a big way. Can't wait to see them @ the Apollo on the 6th of October.

Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings were great. I have never seen a concert at Castle Clinton were mostly everyone was standing instead of sitting.

The John Doe show at Mercury was fantastic. He played 3 old X tunes and the rest was post X with a couple of interesting covers.

Ms. Sharon killed it last night. I was a little wary at first when the Dap-Kings came out at the beginning, & the whole crowd remained sitting. But as soon as they introduced Sharon Jones, everyone jumped to their feet & stayed there. Some even danced on the chairs. With children in their arms. She brought out a lot of new material & it sounds fantastic -- am really excited for the new album.
