Well, the 100's section will be general admission which tells me it won't be Joan Baez or Mellencamp

I don't know anything about this concert but I'm raising money for the Achilles Freedom Team by running the NYC Marathon. I didn't get in via the lottery so I'm doing it this way. The money goes to the Achilles Track Club which coaches combat-wounded veterans of the Iraq war in marathon training and other sports. Not a bad way to help those who've just recently lost a leg in a pointless war.

Is this another backhanded way of criticizing what we're doing in the mid-east by fronting as a fundraiser? Or is it really a fundraiser to support our troops over there?

I'm sure it is like Kid Rock or some bullshit. Motherfucks!

If it's benefiting the USO, I'd guess it's going to actually benefit the troops. Achilles has done a good job helping disabled athletes of all kinds. so with these two organizations involved I think it'll definitely help the troops or returning vets.
