Citysol 2007 (MORE)
Tim Harrington of Les Savy Fav riding paul on stage @ Citysol

As has been said, and will probably be said some more, the idea of Les Savy Fav being added to the bill of Arcade Fire & LCD Soundsystem @ Randall's Island is pretty awesome (and true). Tickets for the October 6th show are still on sale - as are tickets to Les Savy Fav's other two upcoming NYC shows.

In related news: I posted something last week about upcoming Metric shows, and how Emily haines contributed some piano (yes, just piano) to the new Les Savy Fav record. Well, since then her tour dates became more official and announced, so those (along with the latest Arcade Fire tour dates) are below....

They don't even hold a candle to Radiohead or Pearl Jam.

Posted by Anonymous | August 1, 2007 3:44 PM

Daniil, do you want some whine with your cookies?

Posted by Anonymous | August 1, 2007 3:47 PM

Technically, Radiohead is a definitely a very tight band and they probably never miss a note but they are kinda dull live.
And Pearl Jam? Really?
I'd much rather see a Phish show.

Danill, if it makes you feel any better you were the first one to comment - that is an undeniable fact my friend, documented for all to see. A tip o' the cap going out to Danill.

Wow, talk about prejudice.

Posted by Daniil | August 2, 2007 2:27 AM

pearl jam is not a jam band

Posted by Anonymous | August 2, 2007 1:19 PM

what is not to like about pearl jam? i can't think of one single thing

Posted by Anonymous | August 2, 2007 1:28 PM

Deerhunter best live band?? You have to be kidding. Dude in a dress smearing lipstick all over his face then practically eating the microphone while screeching. Most disturbing, I will give you that. Half the audience left mercury lounge before they even finished. Half. Of course no encore because how can you encore with half an audience that are not sure what they saw up there?

Posted by Anonymous | August 2, 2007 1:55 PM

None of you debaters have obviously seen Metric live, do yourselves a favor and by a ticket for Webster Hall. Only thing that would be close would be White Stripes circa 2001
