ive seen her at lolla, decent set. would not pay 35 dollars just to see her though. that is crazy. for me thats a 15-20 dollar show at the bowery, with good opening acts, at the most. i dont think it will sell out.

35 at f_kin Hammerstein?! that's absurd

Man who the hell are you people. Jennifer Lopez tickets cost $250 each...go check Ticketmaster. $35 is not something to be complaining about. Have you ever been to a concert outside of the Bowery or Mercury Lounge? Webster Hall doesn't count.

Not every show has to sell out. I think this will get close to selling out at the least. That said I agree that Hammerstein is one of the worst choices for Regina. I think the price is normal, but if you're going to go big, a seated venue would make much more sense for her.

I forgot to add the question mark after the question. I'm sure someone will comment on that, so here it is: ?

hey regina! how about showing jersey some love?

Saw her front row at town hall for less. Hammerstein is not the right place for her.

Regina at Hammerstein is ridiculous. Who made this decison. Bowery Presents?

come back to purchase regina!

I'd pay $35 to see her in a smaller and/or better venue. Heck, I'd pay $40. But not at Hammerstein.

She should hire the soundman for Wilco, who is the only person to ever make that cavernous mess of a hall sound good. If she is not amped and mixed well, its going to sound horrid in Hammerstein.
And $35 for Regina, come on, that's nothing.

I feel truly sorry for anyone who doesn't want to support great music and good artists because they think that $35 is too much to pay. It's pathetic, really. There's a certain cheapness to most indie rock types that bugs the hell out of me which is usually just written off as being insufferable elitism. Whatever you want to call it, I wouldn't want those people as my fans. Luckily, Regina obviously felt the tremendous amount of love given to her by the crowd last night. It was special and I feel sorry for anyone who balked at supporting a great musician. How much do PBR's cost these days, anyway? Aren't you folks already saving plenty of money by skimping on quality in your daily lives?
