SpiegelWorld - caption it & win (tix or a SXSW DVD)

The bar/table/dancing/hammock area at Spiegelworld by the South Street Seaport is really nice - outdoors and right on the water. Last night I was there for the Jose Gonzalez show (which is in the inside ticketed part - the outside is sort of a separate thing). It was cold and rainy, so there weren't that many people out there, but as you can see from the above photo (that I just came across on Flickr) - occasionaly it can become a regular party. Caption the photo in the comments, and if you also want the chance to win tickets to a show at SpiegelWorld, or a "SXSW Live 2007" DVD, keep reading below for instructions.....
Upcoming shows @ Spiegelword in NYC
8/28: Weimar NY: The Spiegel Sessions
8/29: O’Death w/ Death Vessel
9/04: I.C.E. Ensemble: Music of Phillipe Manoury, 6:00pm
9/04: Daniel Jonhston, 10:00pm
9/05: An Albatross w/ Shock Cinema

9/11: Penny Arcade’s “Bitch! Dyke! Faghag! Whore!”

To win a copy of the DVD you see pictured above, or a pair of tickets to any of the (unrelated) shows listed next to the DVD, e-mail: BVCONTESTS@HOTMAIL.COM (subject: spiegel) and tell me your caption (even if you put in the comments), and what prize you want, and a few winners will be notified.

Sorry to change the subject. Proceed.

"Is anyone talking about last night's New Pornographers show anywhere? Any reviews?"
Kind of like that whole 'if no one hears a tree fall in the forest, did it really fall?' type of thing. i love it. i guess if the blogs werent there or no one's "talking about" it, it didnt happen.

I was there. It was very...blah. No highlights, nothing. A lot of talking in between songs. Pretty weak. Opener was awesome though.

brother and sister dance team Velour-n-Leather failed to wow the crowd at the star-studded Spiegelparty among the notables in attendance were the always fabulous Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka decked out in flames and Johnny Rosa, the son of Robby Rosa of Menudo fame, who was stylishly attired in Dolce & Gabbana
