Hey, I give her props for coining (albeit inadvertantly) the phrase "U.S. Americans" because Latinos use "America" to refer to all of the lands in the Western Hemisphere.

Yes she is smart about that cus at least she was specific as to what americans she was talking about - a U.S American is an american person from the U.S as opposed to an american from Uruguay. The majority of the people in the Western Hemisphere consider its lands to be a continent which was originally named America by the europeans. only recently has the U.S called itself by this name and americans as just its people.
