The Police at MSG. I'm still not sure if I'm going to see them or Mavis Staples.

Why on EARTH would you want to see the Police at MSG after what the community has been reporting here?!? Backing vocals, infighting betw. a very-pissed-off Stuart Copeland & Sting, terrible reviews, etc?
This is not the Police. It's more like "the Police featuring the vocal stylings of Sting"
...just blowing off steam, go see whoever you want; I was very excited about the Police reunion until the day after the Grammy performance, then I completely lost interest.

1990s were a lot of fun at Union Pool last night, seemed genuinely excited to be playing in NYC.

I saw the 1990s last night and everyone seemed to be way into them... I thought they weren't very good at all. I had been listening to the 4 songs on their MySpace all afternoon and was hyped but they were a bit of a letdown. I wouldn't recommend seeing their show. The opening band wasn't very good either.
Though yes, they definitely seemed excited and humbled to be playing NY.

I wasn't being ironic at all. People are selling Police tickets for significantly under face right now. I wouldn't spend $250 to see them in this state, but good seats for $100 or less? Sure.
And the 1990s are so fun. They've mentioned that they like NYC better than Glasgow, which was pretty funny since it was during a show promoting travel to Scotland. They blamed the food.
