August 9th is finally here, and it’s a tough one…

* Daft Punk, The Rapture, Kavinsky & Sebastian are at Keyspan Park in Coney Island
* Daft Punk & Rapture afterparty @ Studio B
* The Hold Steady, Teenage Prayers & The Big Sleep are free in Prospect Park
* The Beastie Boys play their first Brooklyn show @ McCarren Pool
* The Black Crowes are at Central Park Summerstage
* The Cribs, White Rabbits & Foreign Islands play Bowery Ballroom
* The Cribs afterparty w/ Oppenheimer @ Annex

I can’t even make the choice because of the last minute trip I ended up taking to Norway. I would most likely be at Daft Punk though, and i’m feeling a little bad for missing that, and the Beasties, and Hold Steady. I hope it doesn’t rain!
