Tickets go on sale soon for a Saturday September 15th Bob Dylan show at Stubb's in Austin (an outdoor venue comparable in size to Roseland Ballroom in NYC). It's an official ACL aftershow, and is one night before he headlines the entire Austin City Limits Festival. It is not a replacement for the White Stripes whose show at Stubb's was supposed to be on the 16th.
"Dylan", the 3-CD "career-spanning retrospective of Bob Dylan's music", is out October 2nd. "The Other Side of the Mirror DVD", "the first release ever of Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival 1963-1965 with over 80 minutes of unreleased performances", is out October 30th. if you pre-order it all, you get a free Mark Ronson remix. What demographic are they going for there?
Mark Ronson is touring and playing Webster Hall. All of Bob's tour dates below....

Headline should say "before ACL," not "after ACL."

oh yeah, I was thinking from the point of view of someone who was at ACL all day, and then left to go see Bob at Stubb's, but that's a good point.

Why are there so many posts about ACL? It's almost like BV is treating it like a local festival.

I've been to plenty of shows at both Stubbs and Roseland, and Roseland must be bigger. Like much bigger. Maybe b/c its outside, and Roseland is inside I think that - but I still think that Stubbs is like half the size. If someone wants to bust me with official numbers, then I'd gladly welcome that.

maybe if you fucked him in the ear good enough, he could hear how shitty his voice really sounds. his "performance" @ acl was so bad the crowd was dead silent
