CELEBRATION playing CMJ & w/ Man Man ++ 'Evergreen video
Celebration @ Barnard College, NYC - Sept 20, 2007 (CRED)

I still love this song. Here's the video.....
Baltimore trio Celebration unveils the first video from their forthcoming, Dave Sitek-produced album, 'The Modern Tribe.' Director Matt Goldman takes the band on a journey through a thoroughly eerie fantasy landscape. [Spinner]Celebration's next two confirmed NYC shows are October 2nd @ Webster Hall opening for Man Man, and October 16 @ Union Pool for CMJ. Dragons of Zynth, Effi Breast, and Tall Firs are also on the bill.

hey BV, I am really loving Evergreen too. They've really mellowed out huh? I doubt I'll be reading any reviews when the new record comes out calling it "prog rock" again. Longest Liveth 4AD.

I do like the video, kind of reminds me of watching the dark crystal, labyrinth, cyndi lauper vids and growing magic rocks...but don't the celebration members look super aware of the cameras? all of their actions seem pretty contrived...but I really do like them and their music...excited to hear more
