with GZA and Jamie Lidell at McCarren Park Pool
It is with great regret that the kind people that brought you the free McCarren Park Pool Parties every Sunday this Summer
must cancel their upcoming Benefit Show for the Open Space Alliance. Due to unforeseen circumstances, GZA & Jamie Lidell
will not be performing this Saturday. Hopefully you can catch them at another date. Refunds will be available at point of purchase.

id like to know what the circumstances are. Did the jellynyc fools screw up another freaking show?

this must have been known for days.. someone who took pictures for modest mouse on saturday and put them on modestmouse.com had the caption "last show ever at the pool" i wanted to corrent him.. but apparently he was right and was told that. weird.

well i guess that saves me a trip to the city...

I have a sneaking suspicion they didn't sell enough tickets. I only heard about the show by (accidentally) going to Lidell's myspace page. I haven't seen any posters up, and Brooklyn Bodega only sent an email out about the show earlier this week. Shucks

yeah, they didn't. jellynyc was scrambling for coverage late last week. a day late, a dollar short.

this is a shame, i was hoping to pick up a ticket day-of for this.
