why is he playing the same night as the black lips in minneapolis at a different venue? now thats retarded.

he's a whole lotta awesome!

haha,
of course the only show that lets everyone go is todd p's at death by audio.

other sweet bands on that one too

... and the cheapest and most intimate but who's keeping score anyway?

The speakers on my laptop don't work and I don't have a set of headphones handy, so I can't listen to the MP3s right now. Would anyone care to tell me how the above photo relates to his music? For me, it's a disincentive to check it out.

4 NYC dates and no MD or DC shows....LAME!

Jay Reatard is ten times better than all the nerdy, folky bullshit that usually gets posted on this blog.

To the guy above who was asking about Jay, it's really good, aggressive garage punk. Stick to Caribou or whatever if that's not your thing.

because jay and the black lips don't get along. it's a pity.

Erika! Y'know why he's not playing MD or DC? Because they are totally LAME-O when it comes to music!!! I used to live there so I speak from experience.

New Haven?! Hot damn.

I love the Punk/Garage/New Wave mix on Blood Visions. I can't wait for that CMJ show at Mercury.

Cafe Nine books a decent show every once and a while. Bob Log III, King Khan and BBQ, and Demon's Claws all have have shows coming up there.

Why don't the Black Lips and Jay get along? They're my favorite acts going right now, we can't have these feuds tearing apart the scene.
