MUDHONEY played 'Superfuzz Big Muff' & playing it in NYC
Mudhoney played 'Superfuzz Big Muff plus Early Singles' from start to finish in LA a few days ago. The Melvins played 'Houdini' on the same bill - must have been pretty nice - Flipper played the show too.
New York gets the chance to hear Mudhoney do the same thing later this year. Tickets are now on sale for a December 1st show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, and one the next day at Bowery Ballroom. UPDATE: They are only playing the album in its entirety at Bowery. No Flipper or Melvins on those bills though - Melvins have their own 2 NYC shows in October.
Last time Mudhoney played NYC was in November.

as much as i support the 'lets cover a classic album' thing, superfuzz is really stretching it a bit no? great band but thats not a great album.
same goes for girls vs boys back this past summer.

if i think....
saw mudhoney in australia in 2005 and it was super epic. got so soaked thru in beer that my shirt had to be removed. not as psyched on their newer material except for sonic infusion. but this will be a nice show to get wasted at and be kicked by some dude who doesn't realize that mudhoney is in their forties. rad.

Are you sure they're doing Superfuzz/Bigmuff at the Music Hall? It's specific for the Bowery, but not the other venue. I bought tickets based on the BV info and now I'm questioning whether that's happening in Williamsburg. Anyone know?
