As was first announced around the Internet right before the holiday that coincided with an apartment move that has me slipping behind a little, Patrick Wolf is going on a tour of the U.S. in the Fall. Tickets are now on sale for an October 3rd show at Webster Hall.

Back in April, Patrick played inside the Virgin megastore in NYC, and speaking of slipping behind, Untucked Films and I videotaped the whole thing. Check out the video (finally), and all tour dates, below....

Wasn't Patrick Wolf planning on early retirement? Didn't he say something like that after his drummer was all fucked up that night at Don Hills?

Douche... Saw him in SF and he pretty much complained the whole time...

If we do buy tickets, do part of the proceeds pay for a meal for him? Looks like he could use one.

I saw Patrick at Bowery Ballroom in May and he was absolutely wonderful. I hadn't even listened to his album before and the performance made me an instant fan. As for complaining, I saw none of it. When he was having technical difficulties during the encore, he did an impromptu cover of Kate Bush's "Hounds of Love" which was fabulous. He did say he was happy to have a new drummer.

In a way I kind of love this guy

He sucks so hard that it makes everything else sound genius.

Thier was moments of brilliance in the show for sure, I just hate to see d-bags make it... It just makes it worse. Yeah, and eat a sandwhich dude/get some sun...

Just like anybody who isn't canadian or from some God forsaken town in America, Patrick Wolf will never get the recognition he deserves. The fact that you all are taking a minute to check this post and blog about it says a lot about how you "don't give a crap about him"

that was fantastic

am neither God, nor Canadian nor from a small town, but having seen this thin white duDe perform gives one pause. i wo-wo-wonder who couldn't do better onstage. really awful live act.

does anyone know the lineup he played on october 3? there was one song he played near the beginning that i liked but did not recognize it.

I found this on a live journal community. It is the set list from the Oct. 3 show.

1. Wind In The Wires (howl)
2. Teignmouth
3. Overture
4. Jacob's Ladder (howling, DOWN, DOWN!!)
5. Accident & Emergency
(stage banter)
6. Paris (on piano)
7. Peter Pan
8. Bluebells (no Bluebell intro)
(Patrick takes requests but says he "can't" play Childcatcher tonight because he would be playing it from his leg rather than from his heart and explains that he's not feeling it and maybe it will come back out next year or something)
9. Gypsy King
10. The Libertine
11. The Stars
12. Magpie (Jonathan Crisp didn't play Marianne's voice clips during the beginning as he had in Philly and DC)
13. London
(Patrick takes more requests)
14. This Weather (Hold BACK the wind!!!)
15. Tristan
(stage banter)
16. The Magic Position
---
E1. A Boy Like Me (only part of it, told Jonathan Crisp he couldn't do it tonight)
E2. Lycanthropy

P.S."Andrew", I am sorry that he isn't dying from skin cancer like you would apparently have him do. If you haven't noticed fair skin is in. I saw him in DC and it was the most amazing show I have ever been to in my life. And not a single hint of complaint from him. He is actually one of the most charming people I have ever come in contact with.

I saw videos from the SF show and he seemed perfectly fine to me. I wasn't there though so maybe I missed something. But even if he did complain a lot,he is human just like the rest of us. He is entitled to be in a bad mood every once in a while without being called a douche.
