Invisible Conga People was the worst choice for an opener at the Gramercy show. They were way too sleepy-time to warm up the crowd for SMD. There were people taking naps in the balcony during their set.

I have to agree with anon...i was pretty dissapointed with the show. The lights, while cool, were a bit much. You were blinded after a few minutes and the sound was way too low. And i must say that the music kind of dragged at parts. I love the album...but live show needs some more energy. Here's hoping the Chems deliver this weekend.

I saw SMD at Studio B and it really fun. Lots of energy and dancing in the crowd. Infectious, not noise. But maybe it just works better in an actual dance floor?
