The one on the right can play with my pipette anytime!

They're all fine if you ask me... but yes, homegirl on the right is quite pretty.

I wonder how much the success rate of this band would drop if they switched their promo photos to only showing the 4 guys who play the instruments, as opposed to the 3 cute singers..

I really can't imagine them playing the Magic Stick in Detroit. Bless them for their bravery, I just hope they're ready to be asked to show their tits over and over again....

Detroit sounds like a sad sad place...

seeeeeeeriously, i can understand a lot of things, but these people have absolutely no talent, its shameful

The Pipettes suck, plain and simple. They simply aren't very good at what they do, and it's all a cheap gimmick. Does anyone here actually like "Your kisses are wasted on me"? Personally, I find that tune, and everything else I've heard by them, incredibly inventive.

The Pipettes are just as talented as half the hipster crap you all drool over on this site . . . which means that they are not very talented at all.

But who gives a crap, if people like them, good for them. Isn't music supposed to be about enjoyment to the listener? Or is it really about what some dork who got his ass kicked everyday in high school thinks is good music because he/she has some self-imagined "indie cred?" because he washes his hair once a week, wears vintage T-shirts and jeans that are way too tight, and will only listen to bands considered cool by their favorite blogs?

Chill the fuck out and let people enjoy whatever music they enjoy----for no other reason than the simple fact that they enjoy it.

i like em, yo.

HELL YA!

I'd rather see those three beauties then two rusted robots any day of the week!

I caught them at Highline Ballroom over the summer, totally approaching it as a guilty pleasure sort of thing, and they put on a genuinely great show.

They brought a smile even to this jaded music snob.

As a footnote, please recognize the distinction between saying saying someone "has no talent" and "I don't like the band because they don't appeal to me musically". That is all.

"The one on the right can play with my pipette anytime!"

Likening your penis to a pipette doesn't seem very manly or erotic to me.

I dig their album plus i read a pretty funny interview with Gwenno in this months RAGGED. Check it out.
