The Police add 6th NYC-area show & other new tour dates
I stopped keeping track of the Police reunion tour a while ago, but thought this latest update was worthwhile enough...
The Police will return to North American on October 31st for their 5th sold out New York City appearance (4 MSG, 1 Giants Stadium). A 6th and final 2007 concert in New York has been confirmed November 2nd at Madison Square Garden. Additional cities just announced include performances in Washington, November 5th at Verizon Center; Charlottesville, November 6th at John Paul Jones Center; Charlotte, November 15th at the Charlotte Arena; a second Atlanta appearance, November 18th at Philips Arena and a visit to San Antonio’s AT&T Center on November 20th. Additional dates this fall include return visits to Toronto, Boston, Montreal and Philadelphia and an appearance in Atlantic City.MSG tickets go on sale Monday, and some other dates go on sale even sooner.

i saw them at MSG and actually enjoyed the show a lot. not a big sting fan but his voice was strong. As a band i thought they were pretty tight.

Hm, let's see. Decemberists for 30 bucks, or $250 for milquetoast reunion at a big arena. Not sure which one to pick.

i think the $50 tickets behind the stage are the only way to go.
also their other show is not sold out i could still pull 100 level tickets for it yesterday.

Regardless of what all the hipster defractors have to say The Police were pretty awesome at MSG. These are guys that have to be pushing 50 that sounded better as a 3 piece than most 20 something 5 piece hipster acts. Yeah, it was expensive but worth it nonetheless. Bands like the Decemeberists are a dime a dozen...there's a new band with that formula every 5 minutes....yawn.

ok first of all dont bring money into something like this you sound like douchebags i can say that the decemberists suck cock (opinion) the fact that paying 30 dollars for that and whatever you wouldve payed for the police makes no difference they had more success in one of their concerts than all of the decemberists tours and albums
