theyve been charging way too much money for lame parties there all summer.

Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2007 4:25 PM

no its not

Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2007 4:26 PM

is it pay as you go, or do they sell tickets somewhere?

Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2007 4:35 PM

Actually it is the old issue project room's outdoor space.

But please don't come. It's stinky along the canal. Also, I might end up punching you if you get in my way.

stinky with a capital STINKY!

Best Fwends might just be the dumbest name I've ever heard

THIS IS NOT A TICKET

Thank you above posters for the stinky canal warning, I was considering going to this as I still have yet to see Dan Deacon (no I don't have a good excuse)

Posted by hipster replacement | September 12, 2007 5:25 PM

a little stinky canal won't scare me off.

LIVING in Gowanas would be terrible, but a few hours of beer drinkin' & music ain't gonna kill anyone!

have a brew, won't hurt nothin'

Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2007 5:37 PM

anon 5:03, I agree. It's worse than Scout Niblet

or however the fuck it's spelled.

skip dan deacon and just hang out at my uncle's place in Arkansas for a weekend.. he's a fat, hairy bastard that wears outdated glasses and tie-dyes and thinks he can sing.

just don't give him any whiskey... he gets pretty nasty when he's all messed up on the sauce.

Scout Niblett is her stage name. Well, the Niblett part is all hers, but the Scout is a To Kill a Mockingbird homage.

why is the knitting factory 20th anniversary party happening there?

Anyone know anything about the Gowanus Harvest Festival at the same venue? The Yard's site says it's on the 13th but other sites say the 14th. Either way, it sounds pretty sweet.

Posted by Anonymous | September 17, 2007 9:31 AM

it is on the 14th, for sure. good times ahead
