Don't go crazy paying the ridiculous prices the scalpers/scammers are asking (saw $400 on craigslist). The word is that Sigur Ros are adding a second screening/interview acoustic performance on the 6th.

I love ya man but what scalpers are asking is not what people are paying.
What idiot would honestly pay 400 dollars to see a Sigur Ros movie that will be out on dvd soon after, a conversation with the band and then a short ACOUSTIC set.
If there is that said person out there, please leave your contact information as i have plenty of worthless things i can sell to your dumb ass for outrageous prices.

The scheduled NY Festival show is on October 6th at 7:30pm. So would they be adding a matinee or a midnight screening?

The DVD is already out. It is a limited edition package that also comes with a music CD from that film and some paintings by the band
I am going to miss on this show being away that weekend, so hopefully nyctaper will be kind enough to record it for us!

once again love your work and your dedication but cmon man you are smarter than that. Whose to say that ebay auction winner was not bulshit or trying to scam the guy. Happens all the time. Did you look at the winner??? New account. No nothing. 0 score. Ya know what that usually means. Bidders on ebay always try to run up the prices on scalpers for ridiculous amounts and then when they win they dissapear. It is to try and screw with the scalper. Happens all the time to lots of people on ebay ie the jerkoff who tried to sell the Velvet Underground acetate and the dude who unlocked the iphone. They never even came close to getting the highest winning bid.

You may be 100% right about the ebay thing, or it may be a scam deal, who really knows. But at this point, the only tickets for sale on craigslist are for $200 single, $300 for pair, $400 for pair, and "highest bidder". They may never sell, certainly, but it seems like a market for the scalpers/scammers.
But my original point remains...don't buy!

That is a different film. That DVD is the documentary Hlemmur made about the homeless people in Reykjavik at a bus stop with the same name. Heima isn't released on DVD until Nov. 6th I believe.

A second Midnight show (dvd preview, interview, acoustic performance) has been added and confirmed for the 6th.
It will be announced shortly, and tickets will go on sale later this week.

its all one song. lagid i gear. they used to play it on their tours in 2002, they stopped after that (from what i can recall). it was scrapped until...now. and i couldn't be more excited about it.
