holy shit...i just listened to some of bear hands...it made me shiver...why does every band have to sound so fucking boring these days?

@ Anonymous 4:30 - I caught bear hands opening for aloha at union hall last friday, and I have to say that they do their thing well and with some great songs to boot, I'd call them far from boring - just one man's opinion.
On the other hand, if their lead singer wasn't dressed like a silly hipster/rocky horror picture show reject, and realized that exposed nipples don't a fanbase build....I'd say these guys might be on to something.

Yep that's the Tom McRae. He is doing a mini-residency at the Living Room on Tuesdays (3 shows over the next 7 weeks)

bear hands at piano's was fucking great. haven't listened to too too much yet but i think they might become a big deal. the singer's nipples weren't exposed. boo hoo.
