Also going on today:
Foo Fighters @ Irving tickets sell out without ever going on sale.
I was waiting for 12pm to come when they were supposed to go on sale. Long story short, tickets went on sale late and Ticketmaster never changed "Currently Not On Sale". Tickets are seemingly sold out now.

I managed to get one. I was on right at noon and hit F5 until my fingernail fell off.
OH, and Invite Them Up tonight should be a doozy. Why not drown those Foo Fighter blues with some comedy and $3 PBR?

search 'kings of leon' on craigslist right now.. lets just say if you show up there tonight without a ticket, id bet you get one handed to you for free. it might be pretty empty.

yet another GREAT set by KOL....they totally rocked radio city last night and i enjoyed every minute of it...
does anyone have a setlist?????

'twas my favorite KOL show ever! (my fourth in NY). They're tight, clean, and MAN they just OWN their instruments! It was pretty full for Radio City. Caleb left off saying that it was his favorite NY gig.

great show. black rebel were awesome, but too many bros wearing yankees caps and wife beaters yelling for kol during their set. also, the singer threw his open water bottle at some douches in the front row after their set cause they kept standing up and waving at their friends in the back row throughout their set. also noticed caleb giving the finger to some of them during kol set too. but kol did tear it up.

The Secret Machines show last night was stellar -- much better than last week's show, which suffered from a regrettable sound mix (but which was still, IMO, pretty good).
Cool part was Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins (no way in hell I'd be able to ID the other two Foo Fighters in a dark crowded space, so I can't tell you if they were there, too) showing up, rubbing elbows with the hoi polloi, and in general giving the place (and, I suppose, the event) some celebrity credibility.
