a guide to being Sufjan Stevens for Halloween
DOWNLOAD: The Misfits - Halloween (MP3)

All Good Naysayers provides all the info you need to create your very own Sufjan Stevens-themed Halloween costume to go with your Sufjan Stevens pumpkin. And since the city was filled with people dressed up for Halloween this weekend (4-5 days before Halloween), it probably wouldn't be against the rules for you to wear your costume again 1-3 days after Halloween.

Sufjan Stevens is the most overated person in music today! Why are people so consumed with such a mediocre artist?

Maybe if you tried and listened to something other than Chicago, then you wouldn't be so narrow minded.

I have to agree with anon 11:17.Sufjan Stevens? I just don't get it. I am very opened minded and have been collecting music for over 30 years. Myself and most of my friends have tried to get into his music but we all think he's kinda lame. I guess we are just not "hip" enough!

i got introduced to him via brooklyn vegans link to his live show at town hall. i found those upbeat versions of his songs so much better than the music from his cds. so maybe live is the way to go for sufjan?

Anyone know what the story is with Sufjan's gig at Southpaw on November 28th? Is he playing or just reading? Whatever, it seems sold out already.
