Not really, because I have been up there. It is just a tiny room where the have bad catering food setup. Nothing special, especially considering how bad the food is. The separate staircase is nice.

I would imagine it is as illegal to smoke up there as it is out on the main floor. Oh wait, there are 2 kinds of clubgoers - us, and the kind who arrive in limos and are 15-19 years old with their dates who are 40-60 years old.

stage right is for the headliner, stage left for openers. no bathroom opener side, you have to walk around the crowd to go to the headliner one or downstairs to the crowd one. headliner side has nice couches and stocked fridge, opener side usually has just beers and waters. there is a hole in the ceiling of the opener side that was put in by someone who lost in a pullup match. he tried to do a pullup and jumped and put a hole in the ceiling, the ceiling is kinda short.

That barrier should stay down. I've been to a few shows where it was up, but it was a lot cooler seeing Ted Leo there when it wasn't there. I hope it's not there for the Weakerthans tomorrow.
