"LIVE and Collective Soul are also playing after Band of Horses. it's a secret though so shhhhh."
Not that anyone believed you, but Live and Collective Soul will be in Phoenix then. If you're going to lie, do a little fact-checking first.

Clarify for me, someone:
So, for instance, the first show Wednesday 10/17 at 12:30 am, is literally Tuesday night/Wednesday morning/the first night of CMJ, or do they mean Wednesday night/Thursday morning 10/18?
Posted by Anonymous | October 16, 2007 4:26 PM
The first show is Wednesday night/Thursday morning.

Posted by Anonymous | October 17, 2007 10:58 AM

SPECIAL GUEST = BRETT FARVE, YES THE QUARTERBACK.
Posted by Anonymous | October 18, 2007 3:56 PM
so COunting Crows is confirmed, tickets went on sale today and came to $50!!! I tried to RSVP from 5 different emails and got not one reply!
My friend bought tickets and was told that CC go on at 9:30 and that there is still a "surprise guest" at 12:30... Is the surprise act really Band of Horses??? If so does a Counting Crows ticket get you in for Band of Horses as well or is that "secret" 12:30am show a whole separate show???
Counting Crows AND Band of Horses may just be worth the $50!!!
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2007 12:51 AM
Counting Crows ticket does NOT get you into Maccabees/Band of Horses.
Doors for Counting Crows are at 6 pm so no, you don't have to go there and wait 8 hours until Band of Horses go on at 2 am.
Posted by HIPSTER MOD | October 19, 2007 4:16 AM
band of horses stink

BOH will be on at 2.30am!
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2007 12:55 PM
2:30am? is it really such a late show?
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2007 1:17 PM
"is it really such a late show?"
umm, can you read???
look at the goddamn flyer.
first of all, it has "LATE NITE" stamped on it.
then it says that doors open at 12:30am. There are 3 bands listed. 2:30am seems about right for the headliner then youd think.
Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2007 1:22 PM
Spoon went on a little before 2:30 - about 2:20ish...
They only played for like 40 minutes, very abbreviated set that didn't even include "The Underdog" or "I Turn My Camera On"...
Posted by HIPSTER D-LUX | October 19, 2007 1:42 PM
live nation says just show up, no rsvp apparently.
