Cafe Tacuba - 2007 Tour Dates ++ S.O.B's is 25
Cafe Tacuba @ Central Park Summerstage, NYC - July 14, 2007 (CRED)

"Café Tacuba (often spelled Café Tacvba) is a Grammy Award and Latin Grammy Award-winning musical group from Naucalpan, Mexico. They were founded in 1989, and since then have had the same musical lineup. [Wikipedia]
They played a show at Central Park Summerstage over the summer - and Lollapalooza. Their new album Sino is out today (Oct 9, 2007). Tickets are on sale for their next NYC show - November 20th @ Hammerstein Ballroom. It's a show that is part of "world music" venue S.O.B.'s 25th Anniversary celebration, that unfortunately (for some?) is the same day as one of Caetano Veloso's NYC shows, and that is part of a much larger Cafe Tacuba tour. This band is completely amazing. Their shows are a riot, and this will surely be just as much fun.

True. Best hispanic band doing rock? Probably. Café Tacuba are really good and their show at Summerstage was proof of that man.

True. Best hispanic band doing rock? I dont thinks so... have you ever heard SODA STEREO?!

Of course. I think I said "maybe". Live I don't remember having as much fun in a SS concert as I did this summer with Cafe Tacuba. Both are great. Is Soda Stereo coming to NYC soon too?

yes, best hispanic rock that's touring right now!

The only one touring this area at last. Many good hispanic bands out there, but mostly playing California or Florida.
I hope Soda plays in NYC. They've already started selling tickets for the other two shows.

soda's just playing LA and Miami in the US. sucks. café tacvba is definitely the best "hispanic" rock band these days and is AMAZING live. soda's awesome, but cafeta continues to make great new music. that being said, i'm not LOVING their new album, but i might just have to warm up to it... check out my site (www.nyremezcla.com) for an interview with quique from café tacvba about SINO....

anybody knows where can i stream the album before buying it?

Anybody else find it interesting that their most common and really most accurate label is "spanish-Radiohead" and their last two albums have practically the exact same amount of time in between them.
HTTT = 2003, In Rainbows = Oct. 10 2007
Cuatro Caminos = 2003, SiNo = Oct. 9 2007
