FREE Red Bull, Svedka vodka & bloody marys today 12-2
I think it was literally 2:30 am last night when we finally confirmed we'd be having an open bar for today (Oct 17). Come by today @ noon for the free BrooklynVegan party. See lots of bands. Drink free Red Bull, Red Bull mixed with Svedka vodka, and bloody marys. The open bar today ends at 2pm, but then it's still happy hour all day (drink specials for the Friday & Saturday partys TBA). See you there!

"it stinks to be a working stiff"
No it doesn't. While everyone else is complaining about $150 tickets for Neil Young, I just went out and purchased tickets for two nights while everyone else was complaining. So you can't go to some show were a bunch of new bands are playing. Catch them next month when their shows only cost $10. Pay attention to the big picture.

How is he being an idiot? Like there aren't numerous bands with the same names? Also, Islands are playing a large venue (Highline) so why couldn't it be a different band playing at a smaller venue (R Bar). Don't be a smug asshole. You are the type of people that make the comments sections on these threads unbearable.
