if my reasons for hating this band before weren't good enough, their performance on conan solidifies it. they are not a good band. period.

i love GLO, but i have to say the TV performance didn't really showcase the energy of their live show. and the sound wasn't right, either. it's a strange environment to assess any band, really - most TV appearances i've seen by any band falls a little flat, in my experience. the live show friday (and the numerous other times i've seen them), on the other hand, was pretty great.

I saw them at the last 2 ACL festivals. The first year I stumbled onto them. My reaction was: Who are these horrible, unlistenable idiots and how did they get to play ACL? This year I checked them out again, to see if my opinion would be changed. It wasn't. Good Lord it wasn't. I can't stress enough how bad these guys are. Please stop now!

Had a blast at the Webster Hall show on Friday night. Sure, the music is hardly complex, but I don't know that anyone could argue against the fact that the dude has an incredible voice. Combine his on-stage antics with the amazing light show...it really made for an awesome time. I was really glad I went.

I thought the show was awesome! Bands on those late night talks almost always sound bad. I guess from these posts it's either you get them or you don't. But I would LOVE to see them again.
