Lykke Li & Bjorn @ Mercury Lounge, NYC - Oct 30, 2007 (CRED - Stereogum)
Lykke Li & Bjorn @ Mercury Lounge

30 seconds into her gig at Mercury Lounge, though, it was crystal clear that that it was Lykke's night. Bounding onstage as the bells on her neck jingled in sync to the opening bars of "Little Bit," she launched into an amazing set. [Stereogum]
I couldn't make it to either show. If you missed Lykke's video for "Little Bit" the first time, I embedded it again below....

I thought she was great at the Knitting Factory Show. She has a really nice stage presence and a true talent. Bjorn definitely took a back seat and let her handle the show (except for time when he had to motion and then tell her to go play the piano; it was cute). and what very well could have ended up a crowd filled with industry heads (there were a few on their cells in the hallway) was very receptive, too. a few people actually danced! everyone else was smiling and clapping enthusiastically.

I think she's gonna be pretty big here. she's definitely got the talent.
