No doubt this is for a great cause, but Joan Jett will only be there, not performing. And it's a pretty bizarre choice of venue for a vegan party, given that they have not only leather furniture but a leather-lined ceiling!
On the other hand, it does have a member of Le Tigre and Princess Superstar as DJ's, and it's got an hour and a half open-bar.
Go to help Farm Sanctuary. Try not to pay much attention to the surroundings. At least it won't be full of the "beautiful people" featured on the venue's website.

Thanks for acknowledging (the artist formerly known as) Jane Siberry (now, Issa), a few years ago she decided to base selling her music on the concept of mutual respect and trust between the artist and listener - a real leap of faith. And apparently it works!
