Justice @ Terminal 5, NYC (CMJ) - pics

Jusice @ Terminal 5

I didn't make it to Justice at Terminal 5 on Saturday night (Oct 20, 2007). I probably would have had more of an urge to go if I hadn't already seen them this summer at Oya, if I didn't have my own late-night show starting at 11pm the same night, and if they weren't playing again tonight (Oct 22) (tix still on sale). Bao went though. More of his photos below....

WTF?!?

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 10:19 AM

sweating for jesus!!!

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 10:21 AM

That show started tooo damn early.

Posted by chris | October 22, 2007 10:32 AM

chris - what time did it start?

Posted by mp77 | October 22, 2007 10:36 AM

They started at 9:50, 10ish. Box office said they'd get on at 9! Meh.

And they were incredible.

Posted by M | October 22, 2007 10:47 AM

yeah, something was wrong the sound and it just wasn't good. left me kind of depressed.

Posted by queefah | October 22, 2007 10:57 AM

I can't believe people paid money to see this garbage music.

Posted by blah | October 22, 2007 11:37 AM

The Justice show was so good on Saturday, I went to Church on Sunday tripping.

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 11:37 AM

their DJ set at studio b was ridiculous...i left around 4:15 and heard music again 2 minutes later...dammit! does anyone know how much longer it went on?

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 11:38 AM

Please post pics for StudioB....

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 11:41 AM

i was at studiob till 4:30.
such a blur of great times.

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 12:11 PM

what time did justice go on saturday?

Posted by JESUS CHEETOS | October 22, 2007 12:35 PM

Their Studio B sets were legendary. So. Much. Fun.

@11:38 – They stopped around 4:30-4:35. The last song was “Getting Jiggy Wit It.” Somehow it made a lot of sense.

who was the asshole who threw a cup full of ice while I was tapojg the show? anyway, just wanted you to know that it bounced back on my arm and hit an innocent girl next to me right on the forehead

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 1:10 PM

Justice were so great on Saturday. It seemed like the whole crowd was into the show and people were dancing nonstop throughout the set. The sound where I was, on the floor in the middle, sounded great and the venue is not nearly as big as people made it seem.

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 1:17 PM

legendary is the word to describe studio b that night, good lord, erol alkan and xavier killed it

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 1:18 PM

sorry i missed the studio b set, now. but i have to say: the crowd at the terminal 5 show was all a bit gossip girl. mobs of prep school kids. a bit disappointing, really.

Posted by AL | October 22, 2007 1:21 PM

i got a few good justice pictures from studio b. hit me up if you wanna see them shits.

that night was fucking legendary. i think they finished up around 4:45am.

Posted by ruthie | October 22, 2007 1:33 PM

the terminal 5 show was okay, but studio b was just insane. daft punk/acdc, oof. ruthie- where these pictures at?

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 1:46 PM

and you can't forget M.O.P.!!!!

and when erol played atlas, unaltered, in its entirety...holy crap.

epic.

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 1:53 PM

studio b pics anywhere? i have never been so happy to have gone to an aftershow ever

Posted by brian p | October 22, 2007 2:04 PM

what a letdown. god, the gimmick with the cross was obnoxious. like that's supposed to tell you when you should dance.

Posted by cmk | October 22, 2007 2:22 PM

Honestly I thought Busy P's set before the show was one of the biggest highlights. That guy can rip it up. Every project he takes on has been a huge success. The guy kills.

CMK: Your taking this too seriously.

If you went to this and didn't go to Daft Punk you are...

Posted by Eduardo | October 22, 2007 3:02 PM

simply put, saturday night was amazing. i went to studio B after terminal 5 and witnessed one of the hottest nights of dance music in a club in years. Erol Alkan = VERY good. Xavier opened up his DJ set at 3am with the theme from 2001 and it was the BEST launchpad for a DJ set i've maybe ever heard.

anyone record studio B???? terminal 5 was great, but studio B had my jaw on the floor. $13 at the door!!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 3:13 PM

"I can't believe people paid money to see this garbage music."

Grow down you old fart. "god damn kids and their god damn music, turn that shit off!"

JUSTICE is dope!

Posted by feelthebuzz.net | October 22, 2007 3:15 PM

if you went to this and didn't go to this last year, you are_______.

can't wait for daft punk at vegoose!

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 3:29 PM

What time do Justice go on tonight?

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 4:08 PM

What time does Justice go on?

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 4:09 PM

Afterparty @Studio B was without a doubt the best club night of my young life. I can only imagine how ridiculous the Daft Punk afterparty was back in August.

Sick.

Posted by matthew | October 22, 2007 4:15 PM

I feel like an asshole but I mostly thought the show was hohum. I really wanted it to be a blast but it was just ok.

Posted by Tim Duffy | October 22, 2007 4:27 PM

you shouldn't feel like an asshole, tim. some people felt that way about daft punk, too.

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 4:32 PM

missing Justice has to be the biggest let down for me this year...

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2007 4:55 PM

tim:

i agree. i was on the right side and the moved to the center in the back and the bass still sounded really muddy and awful no matter where i was. it was good but not great.

Posted by jason | October 22, 2007 5:28 PM

my justice photos...not many but it was awesome.

Posted by drunkenstepda | October 22, 2007 6:42 PM

holy shit...amazing

Was my 2nd favorite studio b ever (the first being the Daft punk after party)....

but the crowd was classy as hell.

one love brooklyn.

Posted by jgrout | October 23, 2007 11:44 AM

The show was a let down. They played for barely an hour ,including their encore.

They ended by playing master of puppets with a electronic kick.

fuck them.

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2007 1:33 PM

so what instruments do they play?

Posted by Anonymous | October 24, 2007 9:54 AM
