as much as i love (loved) spiritualized, their live show after he canned the rest of the band is so goddamn boring.

total BS..took forever for the link to show up on TM and only ended up with four on the second level..

Anon 10:02am you are a dud. The shows are far from boring. This should be an awesome amazing show. The reviews and recordings i have heard from the recent europe shows have been awesome

I could not find the link either with 10 mins to go before the tickets went on sale. I ended up going to the spirtualized website and someone in the forums had posted the link and i ended up getting 2nd row orchestra center. Was weird though. If you typed in SPIRITUALIZED in the ticketmaster search it said no shows were taking place. If you went to the apollo section on tm you could not find it either. How odd.

I tried calling the Apollo box office at 10:00 and no answer of course..at least this place is pretty small..capacity only 1500 or so..

I had the same exact problem...could not find a link anywhere on ticketmaster, bowery, apollo, etc....then asked a friend to help b/c I had to go to a meeting. She found a link almost immediately, but still wound up losing orchestra tickets for balcony due to the hold up (which from what I understand seems to still be good seats). Ah, tixmonster....always worth every dime of their ridiculous surcharges.

On a side note, BV...I very much appreciate reading you blog and having the ability to see what other people are experiencing with this kind of stuff. thanks. Always very helpful.

I'm the one who found the link and posted to spiritualized.com. Originally, I couldn't find it either so i posted that note and then 2 mins later it showed up on ticketmaster.com and i posted a reply. Then the search for Spiritualized died again and luckily I posted the message because I didn't have the link in my clipboard anymore. So if you didn't go to spiritualized.com and see the link I posted, you were screwed out of the orchestra. Not sure how other people got the orchestra seats but i did get row D.
I've seen spiritualized a bunch of times over the years and its usually really good. The fact that jason is playing more spacemen stuff this time out is nice of course.

Persistence is all it took. Row B orchestra. Not sure why ticketmaster didn't list the event sooner though. Very strange.

I went to ticketmaster at around 9:45, opened 2 windows and searched for "Spritualized"- no link. I put "Apollo" in and the link for the venue's events came up. Had to click through to the third page and look for the date- Spritualized was listed there. I kept refreshing those pages, and at around 9:56, the page to choose tickets came up. I don't know if the clock on my computer was off or if it was 10:00 exactly, but I was very lucky to get ORC C Row 1.
A friend reported the link disapearing also. Strange.
Thank You Ticketmaster for the $7.45 convenience charge per ticket.
Thank You Spiritualized for only charging one reasonable ticket price for any seat in the house.
Thank you Jason Pierce for your brain

are they only playing this one show in the US?

it's gonna be SICK

yea i got row 1 letter 0 on the stage this show will be off the hook, insanely supreme, if ya dig! i saw them in jersey loooong ago at like a festival in giants stadium it was good. field day fest, radiohead was the head liner and the beastie boys did a horrrible show and beck was missing somehow. brighteyes was good and so was beth orton, liz phair was so like i'm mainstream and that wasn't diggable. but yea, it was radical to the max! shit, i spilt my pabst all over my 4 kittens! it's crazy how all four got pabst on them. whatever once i move out of this shitty apartment i'll leave them ont he streeets. develop brooklyn! 718 4 eva, unless your in queens or manhatten, than no.
