1990s are one tenth the band that the 1900s are

Talk about confusing...
The 1990's recently canceled their show in DC. Who did the venue replace them with for the very same night? The 1900's.
Wonder if they bothered to tell ticketholders.

>>>>The 1990's recently canceled their show in DC. Who did the venue replace them with for the very same night? The 1900's.<<<
this is incorrect they were actually on the same bill together originally but the 1990's had to cancel to play a CMJ show...still confusing yes...... During CMJ time lots of bands run into each other all over the east coast have to play together so I doubt it was some sort of conspiracy to trick people
Obviously neither one knew about the other one when they named their respective bands and because they both use numbers it plays tricks on the eye's more so than say a bill with 2 or more Bear or Wolf bands..
All that being said The 1900's (from Chicago) new record is pretty freakin' great...

Yeah, but vegan, are there any fake sex tape rumors about either of these bands? If not, what's the point?
Posted by Barbara Walters | October 4, 2007 1:29 PM
both are really crappy band names.
Posted by Anonymous | October 4, 2007 1:32 PM
actually Anonymous is a pretty crappy name.

@ Dave T:
Didn't realize that 1990's and 1900's were scheduled to play together. The original listing for the DC show only mentioned the 1990's.
And I wasn't suggesting any deception on the part of the venue. Just suggesting that since both are relatively new bands that the crowd might not even notice the change.

the two bands were originally booked together at the rock & roll hotel. the scots cancelled. scared?

I saw the 1990s at Union Pool and they sucked so much. Boring songs, boring show. All I could stare at was the overbite of the thinger.
